Triathlon Cycling and Running 2008 Overview

Exhibition:
  Over 120 of the top brands in triathlon, cycling and running  displayed and retailed the finest products available to the endurance athlete including the latest bikes & accessories, racewear, shoes, wetsuits, nutrition, holidays and training aids.
 
For Goodness Shakes! Muscles of Steel 10K Run at 10:30 on Sunday 10th Feb featured three laps on turf and tarmac in view of the Grandstand.
     
Swim for Tri SwimZone.  Scheduled demonstrations by top coaches and athletes covering swim technique and stroke efficiency. Visitors had the opportunity to watch top triathletes being put through their paces in the shows Endless Pool™.   TCR Bike Test Track:  Visitors were able to try out the latest high performance road bikes on the TCR test track.
     
Viner Bikes Indoor Time Trial In association with Computrainer and www.les-stables.com, the Viner Bikes cycle Time Trial was your chance to compete against other visitors over a virtual 5K bike course.   Seminars and Workshops; 220 Triathlon Magazine hosted seminars featuring top coaches and athletes presenting on swim, cycle and run technique, nutrition, training, and more. 
     
Dare to Tri kid’s Indoor Triathlon organised by TriSport Coaching UK and sponsored by T.W.White and Sons gave children an opportunity to experience the thrill and fun of multisport while supporting the Shooting Star Children's Hospice. There was also talks on training and nutrition.   The Gatorade Theatre featured 60 minute "Question Time" style forums designed to answer equipment, training, racing, nutrition and lifestyle questions for going long in triathlon.  Each forum featured a mix of coaches, athletes, equipment and nutrition experts.  The forums were chaired by Simon Ward of the triathloncoach.com.
